Privacy Policy

Dawn Leap, published by FlyFort · Last updated: October 22, 2026

This policy explains what data Dawn Leap ("the game") collects, why, who we share it with, and how you can review, export or delete it. It applies to the mobile game and the backend services it talks to.

Data we collect

You can play without creating an account. Depending on how you sign in and play, we may process:

  • Gameplay progress and wallet. Level progress, in-game currency and item balances, and cosmetic unlocks, tied to a server-issued player identifier.
  • Nickname and leaderboard scores. The display name you choose (or a default such as "Player 1234") and your scores are shown publicly to other players on leaderboards. Do not use your real name or other personal information as your nickname.
  • Sign-in identifiers. If you sign in (Google Play Games, Game Center, Google or Apple sign-in), we store the identity provider's subject identifier and, if provided, an email address — never your provider password.
  • Purchases. If you buy an in-game item, the app store's receipt/transaction identifiers and the resulting grant are recorded so we can verify entitlement and provide support or a refund. We never receive your payment card details.
  • Device/install identifiers and gameplay telemetry. A pseudonymous, salted install identifier and gameplay/technical events (for example level attempts, session length, crash diagnostics). We do not store your IP address alongside these events.
  • Crash reports. If the game crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects a crash report (stack trace, device model, OS version, app version and a Crashlytics installation identifier) so we can fix the problem.
  • Install attribution. AppsFlyer receives your advertising identifier, device and app information, and install/in-app events so we can measure which campaigns brought players to the game.
  • Advertising identifiers. If ads are shown, our ad partners may use your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, where you allow it) to serve, measure and limit ads. Our ad and attribution partners also receive your IP address when the app contacts them and may derive an approximate location (country/region or city level, never precise GPS location) from it, for example to serve regionally relevant ads and prevent ad fraud.
  • Push notification token. If you allow notifications, a device token is used to send game notifications. You can turn them off in your device settings.
  • Anti-cheat/integrity signals. Platform attestation results (App Attest, Play Integrity) used to confirm requests come from a genuine, unmodified build of the game.

How we use it

To run the game (save your progress, grant purchases, keep leaderboards and rewards fair), to keep the service secure (detect cheating, fraud and abuse), to show ads and rewarded videos, to send notifications you agreed to, to provide support if you contact us, and to understand and improve gameplay through aggregated analytics.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the game, under their own privacy terms:

  • Google Play and Apple App Store — distribution, purchases, sign-in (Google Play Games, Game Center).
  • Google Firebase — authentication, push notifications and crash reporting (Crashlytics).
  • AppsFlyer — install attribution and campaign measurement.
  • Unity Gaming Services — player authentication, leaderboards and in-app purchase processing.
  • Google AdMob and AppLovin MAX — advertising and rewarded video ads.
  • Our hosting and infrastructure providers, which store game data on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

  • Raw gameplay telemetry tied to your install is kept for up to 90 days, then deleted or reduced to de-identified aggregates.
  • If you delete your account (see Data deletion), your profile, saves, wallet, purchase grants and progression are deleted or irreversibly pseudonymised immediately.
  • A minimal purchase/transaction record is kept in pseudonymised form (no longer linkable to your deleted account) for up to 7 years, because store and tax rules require us to account for a purchase and its refund history even after the buyer's account is gone.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access to our systems is restricted to the people who need it to run the game. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

Dawn Leap is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age required by local law to consent to data processing on their own. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

  • Request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time — see how to delete your data.
  • Limit ad personalisation in your device settings (reset or opt out of the advertising ID, or deny App Tracking Transparency on iOS).
  • Turn off notifications in your device settings, and withdraw analytics consent in the in-game settings where offered.
